Well done to the football league another diabolical chimp in a referees outfit, a weekend of poor officials in both Rugby and football an injustice in leicester and Wales, men in the middle paid money to officiate games conned no balls just cards bad decisions. The football league week in week out serve the public with such idiots to run the beautiful games.

On top commanding the game,a moment of a rare attack and a centre forward whom trips himself in the box cons a penalty a "rapist scum of the earth" who should never have been allowed back in public scores from a conned penalty hard to take 11 men a chance! But step fat boy Salisbury for mills similar tackle to Rodwell of Everton wins the ball clearly for all to see and the brum player bottling the tackle pulling out Millsy off. Killed the game in ept crap officials strike again! The football league put crap in their referees outfit and simply outrage the paying supporter, two incidents turn a game! Thank you far man Salisbury

Kevin Wright was the guy who I'd aim my criticism at. Should have given Beausejour a second yellow for the swipe at Peltier, and possibly could have given us a penalty for the King obstruction. The Mills red-card was correct, but not so sure on their penalty. I think King got the ball.

Graham Salisbury should have sent Beausejour off for the lunge on Peltier. Other than that, he did nothing wrong.

Oh and Mills and Rodwell's tackle's were TOTALLY different lol

Apart from tackles both Rodwell and mills two footed ball 1st player stalling bottling tackle you are gonna get took other than that agree with rest!

What was the deal with the ref taking so much time to wander around? playing up to the cameras, no wonder he wanted to be center stage.

who knows..

considering it was a last minute swap maybe he was just making sure he was ready..

has no bearing on the result though

These threads are hilarious. Blame the ref instead of the team for a poor performance. We should be 100% this year right ? Every game someone blames the ref yet it's not like we are the only team that have bad decisions against us. We were poor today. Ref did little wrong apart from MAYBE he should have sent off Beusejour, but the penalty was the right decision as was the red card. Whether you like King or not he's a professional football player so it has nothing to do with the game or the ref that he was the one to convert the penalty. Seriously, start looking at the deeper problems at the club rather than blaming the ref for every point we ever drop, it's getting boring.

Is "obstruction" not an indirect free kick offence?

I blame xfactor! Too many young people believing they have the right to everything at the drop of a hat. We lost because we had no cutting edge. 55% possession in the first half but we never made their keeper work. This is why we lost. Plus we gave them a pen to score from & Mills threw himself two footed through the air to win a tackle, it's as simple as that, and that aggressive behavior is not allowed because it IS dangerous.

Stop believing we have the right to win everything including promotion because we're loaded/have Sven/are Leicester/you're deluded. Games are won on the pitch via the training ground. It's all about putting the ball in the net. Sometimes we can critisise refs, florist away this season is a case in point, but we were 2-0 up and should have been more than capable of holding out against such poor opposition. This ref wasn't at fault yesterday. I think he got all the decisions right, but even if he didn't we should have been ahead with ref number 1 if we were imdeed good enough.

To obstruct King the player would have needed to step across him, in my view Kingy turned and ran into him. He may have got it elsewhere on the pitch but unlikely in the penalty box. If in any doubt then I always ask myself if that had been at the other end what would I feel ? If that was mills or Bamba I'd say no pen.

Also, I don't think there are obstruction & indirect free kicks inside the box anymore. I think that's old school now.

I knew there was going to be a big decision (ie; penalty or red card) because the replacement referee wanted to take the glory. He walked out of the tunnel like he was someone he isn't, and he was totally drinking and taking his time becauause he wanted to be the man in the news.

I turned around to my dad when i saw the way the ref was walking out onto the pitch and said "Theres gona be a penalty and a red card in the second half" and the rest is history

Though i do think the decisions were right to be honest, just wish i could predict these things more often.. i'd put the skill to good use ;)

Given the ref has no slow motion analysis available, the decisions were not unresonable. Two footed challenges with feet off the grounfd have by enlarge been punished by red this season, never mind if they got the ball or not. What really cost us this game was our own mediocre pefrormance, Birmingham were average at best but we never looked like bettering them. I am more pissed with the players than the ref. How much to they want this promotion? how much will the give to achieve it? On this single showing - not enough.

I am guessing that the ref was trying to kill as much time as possible when he came out because the 4th official (i.e. the earlier ref) was injured and the game had to start while his replacement got ready. He probably thought that if he took long enough the replacement would be ready to go.

I was at the game yesterday.

Bottom line was that we had more possession, but didn't make any chances of note at all.

Birmingham were under the cosh in the 1st half, but still had the best chance (header that went just wide).

2nd half - The Brummies just made more chances & so scored twice.

Penalty looked harsh but we were in a poor defensive position chasing Beausajour from behind into the box.

Red card was again harsh, but on replay justified.

Bad day at the office, but can be truned around by beating Watford on Wednesday.

Good performances by Schmeichel, Peltier, Nugent

Shockers by Beckford, King, Pantsil.
