lovelcfc Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 people that are saying that the players are not commited and have no passion tbf i think thats abit harsh i think they do try but the way we play looks like there not
somebum Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 More likely a result of poor management with complete inability to motivate the players. Look at how he has ruined Andy King, the poor guy doesn't know where he is playing next.
acooling08 Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I've already said elsewhere that the slow, boring, continental backward passing tactic makes the players look disinterested.
Narborough_fox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Look at Kasper () and then every other player on the pitch today. Do you really think any of them apart from Kasper () wanted to be there because I certainly didn't.
Corky Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Lack of quality is the issue They are trying, but for some reason we can't pass and move with any greay fluency.
Fox92 Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I've already said elsewhere that the slow, boring, continental backward passing tactic makes the players look disinterested. I agree with mosts of your posts acooling, and this one is no different. I agree with this. None of the players showed passion today. None of the players deserved to play, and none desevered our money. However, sometimes you have to look at the manager as well. Managers like Paul Lambert seem to be able to motivate and get into the players more. I do not see this attitude with Sven.
Kitchandro Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Generally, I haven't questionned their commitment so far, they always look as if they are giving their all. But thye gave up at 3-0 today, it's maybe understandable that they are deflated, but still. And throughout the game we showed a lack of passion, if not effort. And before I get that word spelt wrongly and in capital letters thrown at me I mean, urgency, belief, they may have been running but they were just going through the motions for me. I have thought the same in some previous games, especially away. The problem for me is, as others have said, they are not motivated properly and are not committed to scoring. It was noticeable that we looked as if we thought we only had to turn up today, we had a lot of possession once again in the first half, but once again we were lazy with our passing, crossing was awful, nobody wanted to beat a man or shoot or make something happen, and worst of all even our defending was terrible because players were too casual and did not position themselves correctly. Their first 2 goals escpecially were caused by lazy defenders not in the right inital position.
Donut Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Its not a lack of passion for me Its a team that are set up so badly they are in a straight jacket from the first whistle. No outlet ball, fullbacks that cant provide the width, starved strikers, everything coming through the middle..........terrible, terrible tactics for me

The set-up is thwarting any creativity. I don't believe we have 'passionless' players who don't want to get into the prem... But they are being hamstrung by the ridiculous tactics However, Sven is perhaps the worst bloke I can think of to motivate players. Again, after Millwall went two up I looked over to the bench and literally all Sven did was to stand up and give his silly little clap!! Utterly ridiculous.
