blueblood Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 NP was notoriously difficult to interview, according Stringer that is. Seems as though he's willing to chat to others, post match as well, just fine, some may even say with a spring in his step! - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15508510.stm The interviewer asked simple, straight forward questions, and let Pearson do the majority of talking. Where as Stringer sometimes reminded me of a little boy in a sweet shop when interviewing NP, excitedly reaching for the counter to get his hands on as much sugar as possible. (No chance of NP coming back here though)
psychonaut Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 It's Stringers totally unrelevant small talk that pisses people off. Quite a joyful soul but he dun'alf talk some shite.
MrSpaM Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 Stringer pissed Pearson off almost immediately after he joined the club, that’s why his interviews were always so awful to listen to. I think he told the world some transfer information he really shouldn’t have and Pearson took an instant dislike to him.
themotivator Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 dont worry lads. I'll get started now on my media career and i'll be fronting the radio leicester media team by the end of the season. i hope you enjoy hearing a pissed alan young offering me out every week when i keep making fun of his accent.
frankiesgrandad Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 So are you saying Pearson actually has a personality but hid it because he didn't like stringer ? So he was aware that he sounded "Mr No Personality " every time he was interviewed with thousands of city fans hanging in his every word ? just to piss off stringer ? I think that's very stupid or risky
sw_fox Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 .....or he learned from his time at Leicester, or decided to take a different strategy towards the media when at Hull
lestajigs Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 Stringer is a child growing younger The curious case of Benjamin button
