new walk musuem should buy some

A couple of pieces have been chosen by John Hutchinson & retained for when there is a physical museum at the club, which we anticipate being a reality in 2012 or 2013

Thanks - I did mean auction items.

Will there be one with the club crest on available?

What other ones will be available?

Cheers

The item I referred to, with the stadium name on it went live on e-bay last night , latest bids here http://foxestrust.co.uk

There will be one item in the auction that doesn't come from the frieze and it's one of the ''Foxes/Walkers' hanging banners that were hung on various posts around the stadium, from memory the club crest is on that

Although the current plan is that the vast majority of pieces will go on e-bay, the FT board is going to review after the first 2 batches have been sold.

The initial bids are very encouraging in terms of raising the funds for charity

Very few of the items are duplicated

We are also gathering any feedback from message boards which we will review for alternative ways of making the items available, so we can discuss feasability, so can't really put a final number of how many will go on e-bay

couldnt 1 of the duplicated 1s be used on a matchday raffle? with an average of 20k crowds, just a quid a ticket. atleast a quarter would buy a ticket surely?

Does anyone know whether the bronze bust of jimmy willis and the golden statue of Michael trotter are in the auction? I'm keen to add them to the marble statue of Paul Fitzpatrick that I bought from the club last year for a pretty penny.

Matchday raffles are far more complex to organise than you would realise and you have to have a large team of sellers to make it successful. There are Health & Safety rules to overcome and if done outside the stadium you also need a license from the council. We have sold raffle tickets outside the ground before and the sales were dis-appointing.

We are considering some alternative ways of making a raffle feasible, but need to discuss it with the club

Why don't you post the direct link?

Why don't you post the direct link?

A couple of reasons really

- We actually think it's quicker to go to the Trust website & pick up all the current items listed on e-bay than having to post a new link everytime a new item is added

- Going to the FT website originally for one particular item, you may then see another item & bid

However we do appreciate DavieG continuing to make the effort to add the new links on the first post
