Not_Foxy Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 Hi all, as you may have been able to tell for the title, I'm a big fan of Nigel Pearson. He should never have gone in the first place and this article highlights that and says how he is basically back where he belongs - http://natterfootball.co.uk/2011/11/nigel-pearson-home-sweet-home/ For me, personally, Sven was never the man to take this club forward. He's a decent manager, and perhaps should have been given more time, but still, let's be honest, it was a token appointment that was never going to last. Nigel is a proper football man, knows the Championship and, more importantly, knows the club. As you can tell, I'm ecstatic at his appointment!
Haydos Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 I don't want to sound like a dick but IMO decent blogs should be insightful and progressive. You've just described what's happened to the football club over the last few years with barely a paragraph of any real relevance to football or what is to come. Written well but the content seems a bit pointless.

Len Finsbury Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 I've never understood why people who have nothing interesting to say of their own write a blog. They're as boring as someone telling you about their problems.
Not_Foxy Posted 23 November 2011 Author Posted 23 November 2011 Factually it's correct and I think the author is spot on. Most football blogs/ site won't even mention us, so I'm pleased to see we're getting some coverage for once, and a positive piece at that. Most of the sites have just been slating us, Sven and the owners over recent weeks.

Not_Foxy Posted 23 November 2011 Author Posted 23 November 2011 Yes. I think that site only takes articles from fans. I think it's well written, personally. I've read much worse.
Number 6 Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 Mike Holden Blog Another interesting view, some sensible points. Mike Holden generally knows his stuff and, given that he does a lot of bet tipping, thinks 16/1 e.w for Leicester to win the Championship is a good bet. Not sure we'll progress that much if I'm honest but them odds look rather long.
Flynny Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 I miss that guy who had the weird Sven fetish and a blog to match.
Jaspa Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 Sven would've turned us into a force in the Prem with support and power we have. He just didn't get it right for the Champ, IMO one of the top five tightest Leagues around. Now its a question if our beloved trusted Nige can be Premier, should he/we get there . . . And if we do flop in the Prem, then get a big name back in. If our backing holds strong, we can really be something.
flowwolf Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 He professed to be disappointed at the attendance against Palace which shows he does not quite have his finger on the pulse or offer a reason for it . It would have made for good debate about how wrong it is to play on a Sunday at three o'clock , at least that would have been interesting and not going for the stating the bleeding obvious.

In other words, where there is money yet again. Unbelievable....
norfolkfox222 Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 Any1 know who the player was who sprayed him with champers??? or even better got a link to the interview???
funkyrobot Posted 24 November 2011 Posted 24 November 2011 Occasional Blogs by players like Berner are worth a read, they contain insider information that as fans we can't get. Blogs by fans on here have been pretty much all boring, overly long and biased essays, justifying a particular standpoint and providing an ego boost to the author. The pro Sven ones that we've had to suffer over the past few months have been particularly painful. Thank god most people on here aren't Fkin city bloggers!
