Player of the season so far?

The penalty was harsh, but Kasper got booked for dicking around before the penalty was taken and then again when he kicked the ball in to the stands after we conceded, both were stupid and unnecessary and cost us a point by having Weale in goal.

Because Kasper called for the ball, that is why he didn't go for it.

Still love Kasper he has been our best keeper for a long time, just see the same selective blindness for favoured and unfavoured players, Kasper still has some improving to do especially when coming to claim the ball.

Where you getting this from? He actually threw the ball away, and if you saw the video it landed about a yard away from the centre-circle: tell me another way the ball could've got to the centre-spot (where play would restart) quicker.... so how could he possibly be booked for 'delaying the restart of play'?

The ball the he kicked in the crowd which ended on the half-way line 10 yards from the centre-spot. He didn't deserve a 2nd yellow for it.

I blame the shite BBC for this. I assure you it went towards the halfway line, not into the stands as those tossers made out

Leeds fan here. Unlike most I'm glad to see Kasper doing well, I rate him highly and see him playing in the prem in his peak years (hopefully not with you :P ). However, he wasn't prepared to commit with us for the long term so we allowed him to leave for a decent fee, and we brought in Lonergan on the cheap, who so far has been excellent for us, so it's a win-win situation. Contrary to what you hear from most Leeds fans Kasper was far from shit for us, in the first half of the season his shot-stopping was world class, however in the 2nd half he went off boil and ended the season poorly. Probably a combination of youth innocence and impatience due to being behind the worst defence in the league. Soon after he was sold he became the reason for everything that is wrong with this world amongst the Leeds community.

On another note, do you guys know whether Beckford is becoming available on loan, i'm sure his heart is at Leeds.

I wasn't at the game and only watched it on the TV, I only saw him throw the ball away, (he didn't kick it, my bad that was in a different game where he hoofed the ball away and probably should have been booked), but as he admits himself he was doing it to slow down their momentum, and took the booking for the team: http://www.adifferentleague.co.uk/p6_1_9091_schmeichel-apologises-for-careless-red-card.html

He also said he didn't see the first yellow, which is partly the refs fault as they are supposed to make sure they know they have been booked, but also Kasper's fault for holding on to the ball too long, and not paying attention when booked.

He certainly learnt from it and has been much calmer since that game, and I respect him for apologising to the fans (has anyone seen Howard's apology?).

Still player of the season for me, but not as perfect as some on here make out
