Karljohn Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 Great night, remember Andy Gray up in the tv gantry getting a verbal battering, he'd written us off after the first leg stalemate! must have been close on 8000 city fans there that night, great celebrations, remember the rozzers lining up their vans close to the pavement outside and coming out the arthur wait stand onto the street nearly crushed because their vans were bumper to bumper and blocking us in and causing a bottleneck. Dickheads!

Also remember the stick we gave vinnie jones when he was taking the throw ins. Think he actually looked worried at couple of times.

Guest lcfc80 Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 im sure the kick off was delayed to get us all in,but no one else can remember this,i was pissed though, i can remember me and my mate running out of fags (you could smoke in the ground then)and the last 5 mins i would have given a £5 for one. it was mate and i'll tell you why. we had the unfortunate pleasure of using the buses from the ground and the birdbrains decided to go straight through the center of london at 4pm which resulted in us getting stuck. as it was close to kick off loads of us jumped off the buses and chance it and believe it or not we got off at brixton and then managed to hitch a lift off a wimbledon fan, fair plays to him he got 6 of us in and just to add i'd pay £50 a game if football was like that again instead of people crying to stewards and the police every 5 minutes moaning about what other fans are singing
