Finnegan Posted 10 August 2012 Share Posted 10 August 2012 Here's a tip: Ignore Ronnie. Hong Kong is well worth the trip. Fantastic place, great food, great people, very welcoming and very enthusiastic. Wouldn't go too much later than April, however, it gets spectacularly warm and humid during the summer. Genuinely stifling.
Finnegan Posted 10 August 2012 Share Posted 10 August 2012 Oh and look for places in Kennedy Town or that end of the city. Public transport everywhere is very, very good and the tram runs pretty much the full length. Kennedy is cheaper and a little less built up because it's not on the MTR but that serves to make it a,little more quiet and a bit more "local" which is ideal for a confident tourist.
