Walsall Away - Snow Ball Fight

Recommended Posts

This has to be one of the best away days for me back in League One when Leicester fans had the stand behind the goal and half the stand down the side. At the end of the match the 2 stands had a snow ball fight, the stewards tried to stop it but ended up getting snow balled and the police at the back of the stand just stood and laughed

I loved it when they started on the stewards. If I remember correctly there was one stickler of a steward that got some close attention.

Yes it was Bradley

Remember singing '' If Bradley scores were on the pitch''

Remember Cleverly scoring and running up to the side stand and hugging us all, one bloke fell over the barrier and the stewards tried to grab him but we pulled him back in to the crowd

Didn't think that game was going to be on! The snow was horrendous, glad it did though another great night in what was a great season! Good times :)

Cracking night.

Was Bradley the name of the Walsall player we latched onto all night?

I seem to remember their 'keeper, Clayton Ince, was on the end of a few chants which he took in good humour.

Brilliant night that was, and I almost didn't go because of the weather and being paranoid it'd be called off on our way up there.

We absolutely molested them on the pitch and the atmosphere off it was one of the best of that season. I remember the banter with Clayton Ince as well, 'Your goal's too big for you'; as I recall, and he took it on the chin like a champ.

The snowball fight at the end made it though, watching their stewards duck for cover as what can only be described as a white wall darted around them was one of the funniest moments I've ever seen.

Loved that season.
