Even draws won't be good enough to save NP as Ric said we need a minimum of 8 points anything less NP is out of that door rightly or wrongly.

Ahhhhh well fingers crossed then.

We are worse off now than when Sven was sacked and that seem's to have been ok.

Well in my book it ain't.

So now your all gonna say NP needs time and his own players.

Well half the team is his and everyone said how NP would sort it and these players.

Well he ain't and he ain't the hard man you all made out.

Get rid now before we spend another 10mil on shite like wellens.

So we beat Soton, lose to Boro, beat Brighton, draw away at Derby and if that happens Pearson will definitely be fired. What world are we living in?

People on here are actually blaming Pearson for Sven being fired. And at the same time as complaining about this, they're saying that Pearson should go.

Someone has even said 'we never got anywhere near this bad under Sven'. I forgot Millwall, Reading, Bristol City, three of the worst home performances of recent years, on the back of the biggest transfer outlay in our club's history. He was doing a smashing job wasn't he?

And yes, when you say 'Pearson could be fired if he loses this week' - when the guy has been here for two months and made no signings AND nearly averaged the same points per game as Sven was averaging after a year in the job - you ARE putting pressure on the manager. You are giving validity to one of the dumbest arguments I've ever seen in my time as a City fan.

Finally Leicester fans seem to have cracked. For the first time in fifteen years the 'Sheff Utd 200' come proudly to light and they still haven't learnt a ****ing thing. Apparently we will be less of a laughing stock if we appoint our third manager this season. Apparently Sven hadn't had enough time after twelve months but NP has had more than enough after two. You may be too stupid to remember sixteen years ago, but you should be able to remember what happened four years back.

In the past I've always rejected the argument that City fans are a problem. But Jesus, read this thread. At last, though, we've made progress. Now it's at least clear to see WHICH City fans are the problem. Yes you're angry, no it's not good enough, yes Pearson's had a very shaky start... but jolt the communal brain cell into life for a minute, please.

hang on a minute did you say you had mates who are florist fans .....wtf is happening hang on this needs its own thread , my sister actually married a florist fan who i never spoke to i couldn't even bring myself to go to the wedding and you have close friends who are scum fans no wonder we're in this state :o

You'd be surprised, most of them speak more sense about our club than the Leicester fans I do know.

After Saturday, I wondered when someone would be foolish enough to bring up March 1996.

There's no comparison between then and now. The team of that era had players who had previously achieved promotion for us to the top flight (Walsh, Grayson and Roberts among others) together with emerging talents like Lennon, Izzet and Heskey. Do we have any of their equivalents in the current side? Schmeichel, and, er.. that's it..

In addition, Pearson is no MON. In fact right now he's closer to the camp of past failed managers which includes Taylor, Levein, Kelly, Holloway and Eriksson. But he can earn redemption with a cup run, the last realistic hope we have of salvaging anything from this season.

If Forest beat us tomorrow it will make no diffference to Pearson staying or going IMO. Not a jot

However, it will be yet another disappointing result in a ridiculous season.

They are shite!! even worse than us

I think we´ll win

We are both as equally as shite you couldn't make it up.

It does sound like the Barnsley game was utterly dross mate.

Lose at home tomorrow and it wont really change anything apart from affecting the player´s confidence still further I would expect.

Whats this Rubbish about Pearson losing is job??!!!

Hes been left a right mess by Sven, i said in the summer we had a far too big squad and far too un-balanced and people had a dig at me!!

Big Nige as loads of players to shift and a few to bring in, i would rather right this season off and let him sort it out between now and the end of the Summer and have a real good go next season with the right squad.

If we get well beaten by forest and put in another performance like the one against Barnsley, i can see Pearson getting the push and us getting Warnock!

I'd take that, short term pain (forest fan at work) for long term gain.

smokey - would we be in this position with Sven though? we were a few points off play offs. why not give him the season with his players. We also could have pitched ourselves alot higher than NP coming back, always a backward step.....

Shame QPR did not sack Warnock when we were looking for someone to replace Sven, I would of took him like a shot

But the reality is we have Pearson and how can we slate him until he has brought his own players in ?

Anyone think the way St Ledger has been treated is having an effect on both current players and any potential signings? Wellens must have close links with Doncaster still..........?
