john_lcfc Posted 3 July 2005 Posted 3 July 2005 say what you do and why please. i only buy one at away matches because at home its a rip off (although good) and i just wouldnt really read it
Anish Posted 3 July 2005 Posted 3 July 2005 I occasionally buy them - last season I only bought 2, one when I went to a Chelsea Champions League game and the other one was the Blackburn game. Most of the time they are a rip off, you read them once and then they clutter up your house, so I don't bother much.
Nationwider Posted 3 July 2005 Posted 3 July 2005 One per season now. I used to get them all, but they were only 50p when I started collecting! I'm no financial expert, but I'd say the prices haven't risen exactly in line with the rate of inflation over the past 20-odd years. I think most of the bulging LCFC trophy cabinet is full of programme awards. Still, I'm sure TD will show them off proudly to the Inter and Celtic directors before they tuck into the prawn sandwiches.
Knighton Matt Posted 3 July 2005 Posted 3 July 2005 never. complete rip off and i'm in the pub until kick off most of the time anyway so i don't actually have time to read it...
Durnerz Posted 3 July 2005 Posted 3 July 2005 Sometimes Write stuff in it, but its against superstition to buy it.
Cobbo Posted 4 July 2005 Posted 4 July 2005 Used to but one every game, then decided that my money was more wisely spent on lager.

Random Burglar Posted 4 July 2005 Posted 4 July 2005 Used to but one every game, then decided that my money was more wisely spent on lager. 131485[/snapback] typical
rossporterlc Posted 4 July 2005 Posted 4 July 2005 i used to buy them every game but then i realised if i was spending £3 each time how much i was actually spending (about £70). now i just buy them occasionally, can't afford to spend that amount of money on something that just sits in my cupboard doing nothing.
Hitesh Posted 4 July 2005 Posted 4 July 2005 Every game that i go to i will buy a programme. Its a good read at pre-match/half time and then on the way home sometimes. I also like collecting programmes. I occasionally read old programmes when i feel nostalgic.
Robsdee Posted 4 July 2005 Posted 4 July 2005 Buy one every game, read it cover to cover the next day. At the end of the season put them all in a box with season ticket and away match tickets and they go in the attic, just can't part with them <_<
