From watching on the stream he looked good first half, very promising kept them honest, and with Dyer playing well we stretched them at the back, but he seemed to flag a bit in the second half and I understand why NP subbed him.

That's exactly what happened..

He looks composed on the ball and has a good cross.

Solid game.. 10/10 is ridiculous. If he gets a 10, Danns/wellens both get 20

One thing people haven't picked up on yet is that he also works very hard off the ball, he closes the ball down very quickly and applies pressure. He's a clever footballer who will go far, I look forward to watching him play in the coming weeks.

Marshall and Drinkwater are exactly the sort of signings I want to see more of. Young, full of potential, English and not massively overpriced. I'm not bothered where a player comes from, but it must be a lot easier for players to fit in at their new club when there's no language barrier to get past, or cultural differences. Ideally, we could sign a few more players like these and build the team around them. I think then we'd have the nucleus of a great Leicester City side of the future. Even if they have to be sold on, chances are the club will make a good profit to reinvest in the squad.

How long since we had a good corner taker ? Also, he looks to have a good cross on him. It will take him a bit to get his level of play up to Championship. A very good start , I think.

Marshall was the 400th player to play for us since the Birch first arrived in 1971! Hope that stat will change your life for the better, I know it has with mine.
