No-one has played badly, though Marshall has missed some easy chances; Cov must think they've done well to be only 1 down. I'd think they'd be the happier team in the changing room.

Guest Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 Neither Wellens nor Beckford have looked outstanding to me, but neither are playing badly. City should have clear space between them and Cov though, that reflects badly on the midfield and attack especially.

We're looking pretty good, although helped by Cov not looking good. I'm doing that, get about 10 second delay, means I never miss anything exciting if I flick over on to FT, Stringer and Young tell me what is going to happen before it appears on the stream. other than his corner Marshall is having a mare - another good chance there. I wouldn't say he is having a mare, he is doing well defensively, winning the ball back and covering for Peltier going forward, I think that he has brought balance to the team his corners have also been dangerous, but he is struggling to get into the game in the final third of the pitch.

Guest Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 I meant a comparative mare. He should have scored 2 and he lost the ball a couple of times but every corner he takes looks like it should produce a goal. That's a nice feeling after the last few years. I think Bamba will love him.

He's starting to link with Kasper well, and he knocked a ball on from Dyer which should have been put away. matches we're watching: Burnley - winning 1-0 away Boro - 0-0 away Brighton - 1 up away B'ham 1 up at home Reading 1-1 away.
