Guest Bilo Posted 5 March 2012 Posted 5 March 2012 We idolise a World Cup semi-finalist who was capable of stuff like this. They idolise a man who kicked other pros in the face. Their greatest manager of recent years had a near nervous breakdown on live TV. Ours took us to Europe twice and made a top 10 Premiership side on a shoestring. We won two domestic trophies in the late 90s/early noughties, beating some of England's finest on the way. They're still waiting for the follow up to their 1969 Fairs Trophy. There may be some things Newcastle fans can disparage us for, but the O'Neill era isn't one of them.
Izzet is God Posted 5 March 2012 Posted 5 March 2012 Just goes to show Newcastle's lack of knowledge on us.....How on earth can Muzzy be compared to Cattermole??? Muzzy was pure class who rarely saw red...Cattermole gets booked every week and is nowhere near as techniqually gifted as Muzzy. They're purely moaning because MON managed to get a point (nearly 3) at St James' and is a better manager then Steve Bruce meaning that come next season Sunderland will be the best club in the north east and not them.
Kitchandro Posted 5 March 2012 Posted 5 March 2012 I fvcking hate Newcastle fans. Absolute morons the lot of them.
Burleyfox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Happened upon an article written on the Newcastle United Fanzine webpage... "True Faith" Article starts off:- "Exactly as expectations, O'Neil brought his team of thugs to St James' Park and they set out to do what the Irishman's team do - foul and spoil. Every player behind the ball! For Sunderland 2012 read Leicester 1996. For Muzzy Izzett read Lee Cattermole................." Realise our Geordie friends are a bit touchy after their deby at the weekend but way out of order equating Muzzy to that thug Cattermole.
