Time to experiment with Bamba & Drinkwater

I have been saying all season that the problem at LCFC this season is the midfield. They do not help the defence and don't support the attack quick enough. I would love to see Pearson try Bamba & Drinkwater in CM, I think they Could be an awesome partnership. I also believe we need to get 2 wide men in during the summer as a matter of urgency. Honestly think Bamba could be our Kolo Toure. It has to be worth giving it a go

Do you mean Yaya Toure? Or do you think Bamba is going to get a 9 month ban for taking slimming pills?

Personally I'd have drinkwater and Bamba come in but for St.Ledger and Wellens.

I say the drinkwater 1 on the fact I can see him being Wellens replacement long term...& we've got nothing really to lose try him with Danns in the middle.

For me Drinkwater should start in CM every game and would also start instead of Wellens. Pearson keeps talking about the balance of the squad, & keeps playing what seems like a quality CM on the right of midfield? Can't see the logic or balance in that. The way Drinkwater is always looking for space is refreshing, as this creates room for other players

Bamba has already said he doesn't fancy midfield.

Also, why should he replace St Ledger? St Ledger and Morgan have been good, solid. I know we have conceded 6 goals in 2 games, but notice we've conceded 6 goals when Konchesky hasn't played.

And two of the goals conceded yesterday were when Kennedy came off and Bamba came on and a rightfooted player had to go to left back!
