tickler28 Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I'm not talking about bad losses to poor teams but stupid points dropped. Brighton away should have been a draw ( beckford sending off a joke) should have beaten forest away (kasper sending off a joke) bristol should have been a draw. There are many more but that's just 4 which would have put us 2 points off play offs...hate what should have beens but believe we actually can still do it...come on Leicester!
davelcfc100 Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Being as we have hit the woodwork this season more times than any other team. Had more sendings off than any other team, more penaltys conceded than any other team then we are going to be feeling a lot of "what ifs" and "if onlys" fine margins mean an awful lot in this game unfortunately
Stevosevic Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Bristol City last week and the Boro at home match. Two recently that we should have taken maximum from, Bristol based on form and Boro based on our performance that night. Would have had us fighting.
Guest Bilo Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Forest away comes to mind straight away, complete injustice. December was an absolute disaster though and has probably killed us this season. Picking up 3 points out of 15 against Hull, Peterborough, Doncaster, Ipswich and Portsmouth is relegation form.

Whenever the opposition players get near the box I fear them more than a goal.

Daggers Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Welcome to the real world, football and reality, OP.
dannyjpage Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 It really is that close Looking at the league table if we could have converted 2 of our losses into wins we would be right in the mix (6 pts) In my mind recently i think the away games against Watford and Bristol where we scored but conceded too many were crucial December was influencial and we should have got all 3 points at home against Peterborough It just shows how every game is so important and what a fine line it is between being in the top 6 or continually chasing the pack It is still possible for this season and there has been some amazing highs like Norwich in the cup that make it all worth it. But if we dont achieve playoffs this year i really do think that next year we can pick up these few extra points that are needed to make the difference. It was always going to be tough with so many new faces this year and a change of manager, but i have seen enough to know this team is capable of so much more plus we have developing players like Schlupp that will only get better.
