Chelsea Match Thread

The match was live on French TV. And the commentators noted the Chelsea superiority technically. but credited the City for never giving up and for their fantastic support.

Leicester spirit was alive and well on the pitch and the terraces.

Attacking wise, we were magic in parts. Defending we were poor but when you set up with two massive but slow CB's a rb who is a cb and tell your lb to push up, against the speed and agility of Torress and Sturridge then you will get punished.

On the bright side we created some good chances and were unlucky not to score more ourselves. On wards and upwards. Take the confidence into the league. Up the football league we go.

We do have a slow back 4 and Konch was clearly told to supplement the attack. Not helped at all by Bamba going AWOL the entire game. I don't think Morgan, SSL or Pelts, when he went to RB played badly but they were let down severely by their partner.

Chelsea were back to their best.

We can't expect to beat one of the best teams in Europe when they are on song.

Thought all the Players did well.

Danns was magnificent;

Agreed.

Shamed, swept aside. Utterly predictable.

No, Schmeichel isn't a great keeper. He's a good shot-stopper, but I've been saying all season that he's far too mistake prone. Listen to what Grayson and Leeds said about him.

Bamba... well, hopefully this can put to bed the totally irrational love affair with him. The worst type of defender - a luxury defender.

Interesting also that so many people are pointing towards St.Ledger and Nugent's drunken Wednesday at the races. While I'd normally ignore such a thing, it can't be a coincidence that, yet again, question marks about self-discipline and application are at the centre of a 'season-ending' disaster.

There are two things we mustn't (but, I suspect, will) do after this. (1) Turn on the manager. (2) Ignore all the lessons from today's game just because it was Chelsea. There was something eerily familiar about this.

Well the better team won, but we gave them a good game.

Well done to Torres, you're really starting to earn your price tag(!!)

Think we did pretty well against a bunch of smug, arrogant millionaires with fvcking stupid haircuts. you can take your Chelseas, your Liverpools, your Manchesters and shove them up your arse, I wouldn't give my Leicester City up for the world. Svit, but it's my svit, Our svit. Proud. (And we're still better than all of them....) LEICESTER TILL I DIE

Listening..

There ya go!

lol

Well what's the point? He goes on about him having a few poor months at Leeds and judges him on one game against a CL team.

Oh I do. Kasper get's way too much stick from us Leeds fans(will surely be getting more tonight), but he isn't a top 6 Premier League keeper like some on here think he is.

Well I agree, if anyone says he's good enough for a top 6 Premier team, they're deluded. He's no worse than Bogdan, Al Habsi, Kenny etc though...

Whether we were at our best today or not, Chelsea are a quality side. After the first two, I was genuinely worried that we would be humiliated. However we dug in there and gave it a good go in the 2nd half. Overall, I think 5-2 flattered them. I think 4-2/4-3 would've been fairer. It's a massive shame that at 4-2, Beckford was somehow stopped from scoring. Had that gone in, it would've been VERY interesting!

Oh and our support pisses all over Chelsea's any day of the year!!
