Get behind Nigel and the team!

I went to the Millwall game on Saturday and obviously I can understand why everyone is angry, me included. We went there with no passion and yes Nigel did get it wrong on this occassion. Konchesky had a poor game but there is no doubting he has been quality all season. Andy King should not have started, he clearly wasn't fit and had no impact on the game, and Nige did get it wrong taking Wellens off! All of these tactical mistakes can only be put on to Pearson who clearly got it wrong, and because it was the game that ended our DREAM of play offs people are going crazy and all rational saying get pearson out.

There is no doubting Pearson is a good manager at this level, and based on the 1st half at Millwall (up until there goal) we were camped inside the Millwall half but yet again we just couldn't find the back of the net. This is not Pearson's fault but the players clearly put 100% in to the 1st half. Second half began and it was a error from Konchesky that gifted them their 2nd goal, which just killed the game off. I know the players shouldn't have given up but it is difficult to go away from home and score 2/3 goals.

Forgetting Saturday's error from Pearson he has done very little else wrong, he is starting to get his sort of squad back, rather than the squad that Sven put together. He has made very good aqcuisitions in the shape of Marshall, Drinkwater and Morgan, who have already shone in Leicester shirts.

Give Pearson the summer to get rid of the dead wood (Gallagher, Howard, which I can't see as he likes them both too much, and also get rid of Mills and Pantsil), then he will sign a few more players, he will strengthen the heart of the midfield, maybe an additional striker and he will lead Leicester City to play offs/automatics next season.

Getting rid of Pearson would be a step backwards for the club as it would of made the 2nd half of this season a waste of time of the players getting used to him and his tactics etc, and by making all the players having to adapt to another managers' style of play will only unsettle the squad and would leave us in a positon to have another disappointing season like the current one that we are engaged in.

I was just about to start a new topic saying pretty much the same thing but you have said it all already my friend. I actually considered not reading this site anymore after some of the absolute shite certaiin "fans" have been spouting recently. Everyone I ever see wants a young, hungry English manager who signs young, hungry English players and that is exactly what we have (I actually don't agree with this as I always found it a little racist) but I point it out as I can;t believe the morons on here who slate him. He is exactly what most of them want and given time I am sure he will do well.

I really rate Pearson and I genuinely believe that with him at the helm we will gain promotion next year. Come on you Foxes!!!!

Going crazy and rational?

:P

Well yes, how many threads have there been about wanting Pearson out when he has done nothing wrong to warrant getting the sack, he has stabilised the squad and will now improve it over the summer and then we will push for promotion again next season.

Unless of course you are questioning this due to the awful manner in which it has been written theen I totally agree the English wasnt the best in this statement.

Think he might just have been questioning the grammar! I guess you meant "irrational"?

......... but I'm cool with getting all rational :)

So you are already throwing in the towel for automatic promotion next season ? if not why the wembley 2013 ?

If we all get behind the team maybe we won't concede any more goals. How many people does it need to block a goal?

I'm not throwing it in, but I think more realistically we will make the play offs unless we sort the form out, look we haven't won 3 on the bounce all season, yet before Saturday we still had a reasonable chance of getting play offs. If we sort our form with the lower teams out then there is no reason why we can't win the league, I just dont think we will sort it out and that play offs is a much more realistic target, but of course I would love automatics. 2 places and the likes of Leicester, (leeds will be big threat under warnock next season, (Cardiff, Brum, WHU, only 1 of them is going to win the play offs, then Hull, Brighton, there are a lot of good teams in this division, unless we sort form, away form and dropping points to lower league positioned clubs then no I dont think we have a chance of automatics, but hopefully they prove me wrong

Well said Sir.

Do people not remember that Pearson got us into the playoff's before!?!?! He didn't need millions of pounds he was just left alone to build his own squad and he had good support from the fans!

STAND UP IF YOU LOVE LEICESTER.........OR SIT ON YOUR ARSE AND SLAG OF THE TEAM LIKE CERTAIN FANS DID AT MILLWALL (GREAT HELP)!!!!!!!

Sacking Pearson is as stupid as sacking Sven. No matter, Pearson can only do so much...even with money, you can't buy players who actually CARE about winning.

Pearson has to stay..because if they sack him, Warnock WILL be our manager at some point in our lives, he's had a go everywhere else.

This season was over long before the Millwall game, but I reckon that Pearson can take us further next season, and we need to back him, not sack him.
