I was told about Boro winning this award by one of their fans just after we beat Cardiff so I made a point of looking at their pitch on the football league show. Muddy goalmouths and touchlines and sparse covering of grass in a lot of areas. In contrast, our pitch looked in perfect condition and we were the coldest place in the country at the time. It just made me wonder who the hell votes for these things and are they f***ing blind or what? Or was it already decided back in the summer when our pitch was being relaid? It's a meaningless award really but we've been f***ing robbed again
