Away form has left me baffled, says Nigel Pearson

Never mind being baffled by the away results would Pearson now like to comment on the last two home games as well.

The only thing I am baffled about is how the hell has he not been shown the door after yet another abject surrender by players who clearly don't give a fvck about him or the club.

Tonight's game was nothing more than a cringe making embarrassment, and who but the blind faith merchants can think anything is going to change under Pearson's tenure. Stop fooling yourselves he and this club are going nowhere.

If your reading this TOP and I know you often do read my enlightened posts , please do the only humane thing left open to you and have Pearson put down.

"baffled"

well heres a novel suggestion. CHANGE YOUR APPROACH.

How the hell can you be baffled when YOURE the one in charge of preparing the team, does he not look at them all week and then stepping on the pitch away from home is a random act? stupid quote.

Ya see this is the whole point of why journalists and their spin annoy me so much.... because now people are getting all angry and annoyed at Nigel for something that never happened.

HE NEVER SAID HE WAS BAFFLED!!!!

It's called reported speech, as a trainee journalist myself you use it to when the actual quote where he says that would not work as a direct quote. You do not make up what they have said you paraphrase or pick out the key points of what they said. It's the best way of introducing a direct quote and setting the tone for wat the next quote will say.

Just because a direct quote does not say that, it does not mean that he did not say it.

lol

are you being serious? If he did actually say it then why didnt they just quote him on it like they did the other quotes?

OR maybe ...wait... get ready for this.... MAYBE it is a journalist trying to sensationalize a story/quote?

I mean... who cares if people are now insulting Nigel eh?

You are being sucked in by the flith that is known as journalism

"Their clinical finishing was the difference but in the end they had too much for us and I have no complaints.

"We didn't have the creativity in the middle of the park that we would have liked and I think that - along with the injuries - didn't help us tonight.

Now chaps, these are quotes - did I miss something or is he suggesting that when Wellens went off and Dyer came on, all creativity died, or is he suggesting that the team he picked to start didn't have the creativity, that it's not at the club in the first place?

By suggesting that we didn't have the creativity in addition to the injuries, it does feel like that old baffling feeling is still there and now plaguing Nige at home as well.

But it doesn't matter, because he doesn't have any complaints - he should be apologising to the fans - telling us how, after a week on the training field, the creativity they worked on all week deserted them on the pitch, that he got his tactics wrong, his team let him and us down and he's sorry that our club is a laughing stock that has just taken 5 points from the last 12 at home

Not his fault King and Wellens were injured plus Danns was already out.....

He cant magic a centre mid out of thin air!!! Let him bring someone in this summer.

He knows its not been good enough but he's had limited options squad wise. The squad isnt as big as people think and he cant buy anymore players until the summer.

I think Sir Alex would struggle with this lot!!
