miles2lcfc Posted 16 July 2012 Share Posted 16 July 2012 I'm definitely going to be there. It's the most local league club to me. Only 30 mins on the train dircted from my village train station. Can't find the prices any where.

CosbehFox Posted 19 July 2012 Share Posted 19 July 2012 There's a little booth outside the away end where you buy tickets. Be warned there's not a lot to do around there. Shrewsbury town centre is a good walk. Just a shame considering its a very nice town with tons of pubs.

lcfc"weasel" Posted 20 July 2012 Share Posted 20 July 2012 goood man , not sure where to head for a beer there though?? Me neither, will be on my own so will probably head straight to the ground, and hope for a drink in there, unsure of what time to arrive as well. 1964FOX Posted 20 July 2012 Share Posted 20 July 2012 Last time we went there was a pub on a corner only a few minutes from the ground ( towards the town centre) that allowed away fans,
miles2lcfc Posted 20 July 2012 Share Posted 20 July 2012 I live in a village 5 miles out of Wrexham (Ruabon). Bit more expensive than when I last checked - £8.90 return. 32 minute direct train so pretty good in comparison to the usual 2 hour drive. May have a couple of mates from Leicester staying at mine and having a night in Wrexham (what a treat!) afterwards. Where are you going from? Clearly not too far either. * This was in response to DarynForster asking where I'm getting the train from. Obviously not a regular poster. I assume to reply to a previous post I use 'multiquote' not 'quote'!

miles2lcfc Posted 23 July 2012 Share Posted 23 July 2012 Anybody know the name of the boozer near the ground that's been mentioned? Sounds like a good plan to get a few Leicester in there. Drank in the middle of Shrewsbury last time. Didn't see many footy fans - couple of LCFC with a Donny fan who I assumed he'd come to see Wellens as we'd signed him that summer. Legend Fox - not far away from me then in Oswestry. You want to see if you can get a lift to the station and come out for a few afternoon beers. Foxy Bingo Posted 23 July 2012 Share Posted 23 July 2012 Seems a bit of a treck from the train station to the ground but I'll be doing it as I have no alternative. Anyone know how long a walk it is? Google reckons 45 minutes
