If we go with this it wont matter how good the new winger is as last season proved that none of our central midfielders are strong enough as a pair to get us above mid-table. Gubbins Posted 14 July 2012 Share Posted 14 July 2012 Matthew James. I am dubious that an inexperienced and untested Man Utd reserve is going to make that much difference in a 2 man central midfield. To have a shot at promotion with the current squad we have to play a different formation therefore I dont think a new winger is a priority. Danns, Drinkwater, Sclupp, Waghorn, Konchesky, Kennedy & Nugent.. Who Can Play Wide If Need.. So stop moaning we need a winger, Pearson wants a smaller squad with fight for places.. So new centre defender is needed, could be Chester.. De Laet can play Across the back four with Liam Moore as back up.. Rant over... What a terrible thread.
