Nice blog, good read. I'd like to focus on this though when you mention our chances for the season...

"...however many teams look stronger in vital positions"

It's this comment that leaves me puzzled. Where exactly do you think we are weaker? And which teams boast stronger individuals in these positions?

Anything short of 6th and NP will be out the door.

Good point, the midfield that's where I think we are weaker. Many sides have stronger central midfields than us, while our defence needs to be better than last season, because in parts it looked good, while in other parts we struggled.

Im hoping top six, but some people think we will miss out on the play-offs again, and at this moment in time im unfortunately one of them.

Just about to watch Cardiff v Huddersfield.

Cardiff look a bloody strong squad!

lol

Dont tell me your serious?

I am serious, they have lost by far their best player and brought in some dross. Warnock up to his old tricks of signing "controversial" players who he will probably fall out with. Can see them really imploding with a mid season sacking of Warnock and maybe slipping into the last relegation spot.

You got slaughtered on our forum and rightly so. Dave Jones is unbeaten against English opposition in 18 games, we have a wealth of new signings, a squad of very promising upcoming youngsters, 2 solid goalkeepers with Premier League experience, a strong and Championship experienced back 4, pace, height and creativity throughout the team, money to spend, confidence and momentum at the club, and you had us 21st behind Huddersfield. All opinions I guess but a rubbish one in my opinion.

Blackburn in the play-offs? they're mid-table at best with the farcical situation off-field and Steve Kean in the dugout. I'd have Wednesday finishing above them to be frank.

It'll all go sour once Mandaric gets bored and turns trigger happy once more.

The league table prediction seems a little "big team" "little team" based.

I guess you didn't go through each match you just looked at the teams and put them in the order you think.

Still your opinion is as valid as anyone else's.

Based on that

Pearson OUT! :P

A good read. Enjoyable, so well done to you. Don't listen to the critics: "There are those who do and those who don't and the ones that do are the ones that make a difference." (I said that).

Despite looking half asleep last night, I've tipped Cardiff for the title; Bellamy will make a huge difference if he stays fit and with £100m to invest, their owners mean business. Lousy decision to play in red though.

Not sure who will finish second: anyone of Bolton, Wolves, Leicester or Blackpool (if Phillips and Ince are more than one season wonders) maybe. (Cue cliche) it's a very open division.

I'd love Blackburn and Leeds to implode as both clubs owners are crass and stupid.

Wolves in the top two is a strange one...

Indeed. As we know, Scandinavian managers with no experience of this league don't tend to do very well in it.

The queue of players (Fletcher, Jarvis, Berra) wanting to leave is not a good sign for them either.

Yep I even knew I would get slaughtered, but at the end of the day I have to put teams somewhere, and my opinion is that your squad isn't strong enough yet, especially in attack. However with rumoured signings like Barkley and DJ Campbell, they will help you a serious amount, especially Barkley who impressed at Everton when given the chance, at Championship level he could well make a huge impact in this league, and single handily control games for you.

I like Wolves they still look very strong despite those players leaving, Fletcher and Jarvis were always going to leave, like Hoilett and Yakubu were always going to leave Blackburn. Wolves still have Ebanks-Blake, Doyle, Johnson, Hunt, O'Hara, these players could walk into a Premier League side. They may have an unknown manager, but im bold that Wolves will do well in the Championship again.

Wolves will come nowhere. I'd tip them to be at least 5 points off the play offs

5 points off the playoffs - that's about where we were at best last season. :(
