Lee Morris injured again?

With three goals in a two-game tour, Leicester City striker Dion Dublin has every right to feel satisfied with his return to his home-town club.

Dublin has been the pick of the squad who return home tomorrow after their pre-season build-up in Estonia and Finland, and he will be relishing the serious action when the season proper kicks off.

A tour such as this is as much about off the field, on the training ground and in the camp, as it is out on the pitch during games.

And as Dublin has undergone more of these tours than he might care to remember, how does he feel on this one?

He said: "We are working hard to get fit. This tour has been hard for us, with a lot of travelling. I have been getting a few goals, which is fine, but I think the performances have not been too bad either.

"The opposition are not at the same standard as those we will meet when the season gets going, but things are looking all right considering we have been back for just two weeks."

Boss Micky Adams also rated the games as ideal for the purpose and after last night's comfortable 3-0 win over Espoo he said: "The match gave us just what we wanted, a good work-out against a side who were strong enough to give us a good game.

"I am pleased with the way we came through it.

"We have had a few knocks, which you always get at this stage, but we are still very early on in the process and I am pleased with the way things have gone over here."

Trialist Youl Mawene came through the 90 minutes last night and looked very comfortable considering he was surrounded by team-mates who were strangers to him.

The Frenchman, who was at Derby last season, arrived late the night before the game and settled in right away.

Adams confirmed that City have him "for as long as we want" in terms of a decision about making the move permanent.

Indeed, while the work here has not really had any let-up neither has Adams's search for new players, and he is still hinting at one or two more arrivals in the near future to add to his latest capture, striker David Connolly from West Ham who is on the verge of completing his £500,000 move.

I'm presuming that's why neither Morris or Makin played yesterday......

maybe this thread should be made a sticky!  lol  ;)

it would be more news worthy to have a 'morris is not injured' thread, should that ever happen

Bloody hell I read this thinking it was 'new' information about one of our players but instead it's one of those annoying thread-draggers that have become so popular on here recently ;)

So how is Lee Morris these days?

'A' pain and a drain on the wage bill is nearer the mark in this case I think!
