Dan Posted 14 December 2012 Posted 14 December 2012 It can only be a good thing IMO, not saying we should ever have more foreigners than our own lads but I think having different style of play will help some players in some areas. Foreign players generally have better technical skills but are physically weaker.
Magnoem Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Simonas StankeviÄius has become quite a Youtube star. Over 60k in 3 days.
Please Hammer Posted 16 December 2012 Posted 16 December 2012 Apparantly we also have another Lithuanian U-17; midfielder Tomas Dombrauskis. Don't know much about him, started for the U17 in the UEFA championship. Oh, and for what it's worth, Stanky put four past Armenia in the qualifying round of the UEFA U17 championship. http://www.uefa.com/...4926/index.html Could be quality.
Guest MattP Posted 16 December 2012 Posted 16 December 2012 Sounds like we have taken on Hearts youth system.
Aleksz Posted 23 July 2013 Posted 23 July 2013 Playing against Spain now on Eurosport for the Lithuania U19s
woddyuk Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 Its good to have a larger talent pool of course but the club need to avoid"the doughnut" effect from looking on the outside and leaving a hole on your own doorstep. Plenty of potential prospects to be found on Rushey Fields, New Parks, Oadby, Hinckley, Brauny, etc Lets not forget that.
jamesmilner Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Bills always looked abroad , he got one from his visit to a Peru tournament !! Nothing new there .
