Lineker's Left Foot Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 As our Academy seems to be continually successful, I had a quick look and it appears as though a lot of our players are of foreign nationalities - thus demonstrating that we are casting the net further in searching for the next player to progress to the first team. Just come across this goal from a Lithuanian Under 19 international we have called Simonas Stankevicius, and also a French player we have called Herve Pepe Ngoma seems quite a prospect too.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-Wm6IzgwA0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMwBsuH8ShI
Guest Bilo Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Bloody foreigners. Coming over here, scoring in our goals...
Ashley Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Well we are aloud to now were applying/applied to be a 'grade a' academy.
lcfcsnow Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Herve Pepe Ngoma looks like the next Sol Bamba. :xmascool:
bmt Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Well we are aloud to now were applying/applied to be a 'grade a' academy. When are the academy gradings announced?
Ashley Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 When are the academy gradings announced? Not sure but we can acquire players further than a one and a half hours drive away. I should imagine we'll be grade A next season.
sdb Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Pepe!! Wow. Looks quite a talent. Definite heart attack material right there!
Danno Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Anyone else seen all these Thai kids who've come recently?
Carl the Llama Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Pepe pulling off all those tricks is all well and good at that level, but I'm dubious whether he could get away with it in the Ch'ship or, hopefully, P'ship. Only time will tell. Lovely strike by Stanky btw.
darko2k7 Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Is that Logan in the 2nd vid @ 1m 54s ? He really does just get any game he can no matter the level
Dan Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Herve Pepe Ngoma?!?!?! FLAIR overload. The more the better. FLAIR.
Dan Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Just watched Pepe's vid, he looks a right talent, literally has every single aspect to be considered FLAIR.
sdb Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 If Patrick Viera and Sol Bamba had a baby...Herve Pepe Ngoma.
StanSP Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Pepe's not short of confidence, is he?! Gotta control all of it though; against better strikers it won't always work! Also, he needs new boots. Slips a lot.
Langley Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Casting our net further? Lithuania and France? I was expecting something like Argentina or Bolivia not somewhere I can drive to in a couple of hours
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 13 December 2012 Author Posted 13 December 2012 Casting our net further? Lithuania and France? I was expecting something like Argentina or Bolivia not somewhere I can drive to in a couple of hours Know what you mean, but it's a start. Further than casting our net to shitty places like Coventry.
Carl the Llama Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Casting our net further? Lithuania and France? I was expecting something like Argentina or Bolivia not somewhere I can drive to in a couple of hours In a couple of hours? France perhaps, but good luck getting to Lithuania that quickly without breaking a land speed record.
adamkhalifa Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Think, Herve Pepe Ngoma would make a great centre mid. Just a thought.
Langley Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 In a couple of hours? France perhaps, but good luck getting to Lithuania that quickly without breaking a land speed record Don't underestimate my 1.3 1999 fiesta! It'd only take 22 hours or £196 in fuel. But you know what I mean. Casting our net further than our country but you know... France. C'mon. It's not that far. WE'RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER BOAT.
Langley Posted 13 December 2012 Posted 13 December 2012 Also don't we have Pier Larrauri who's currently on loan in Mexico? From like Peru or something....
dakin_fox Posted 14 December 2012 Posted 14 December 2012 Also don't we have Pier Larrauri who's currently on loan in Mexico? From like Peru or something.... yeh as far as i know we still do .
My Nads Posted 14 December 2012 Posted 14 December 2012 Bloody foreigners. Coming over here, scoring in our goals...
