Father Ted Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 In our play off season, after 24 games we had 38 points. 09/10 season: Game 23: Lost 1-0 away at Swansea (dire away performance) Game 24: Lost 1-0 away at Barnsley Game 25: Draw 0-0 at home to Newcastle. 12/13 season: Game 22: Lost 1-0 away at Millwall (dire away performance) Game 23: Lost 1-0 at home to Cardiff Game 24: Draw 0-0 away at Hull. Albeit we lost in the FA Cup 4-2 at Cardiff in the play off season between them but the comparisons are freakily similar. Lets hope it's a case of deja vu
Fox92 Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 That is freaky tbf. I'd take plays offs though, as I said before the start of the season.

That means we'll be unlucky in a penalty defeat with a certain Frenchman messing up his and getting shipped out for nothing...
Legend_in_blue Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 Why would we want de ja vu? Personally, I like watching any film with Denzel in. Don't you?
LJS Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 So we have had roughly the same performance this time around under Pearson even after he has spent more than £8m (i'm not counting Woods, obviously) on players this time? I like Pearson and all that but this thread doesn't do him any favours.
Father Ted Posted 28 December 2012 Author Posted 28 December 2012 Why would we want de ja vu? I would be more than happy with a play off place
Bilo Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 Let's not! That means we'll be unlucky in a penalty defeat with a certain Frenchman messing up his and getting shipped out for nothing... The main difference being that Knockaert actually is decent.
dmayne7 Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 The main difference being that Knockaert actually is decent. Kermo was decent...
Bilo Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 Kermo was decent... You just can't argue with a strike rate of one in 20.
Kitchandro Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 I would be more than happy with a play off place And losing in the semis? At ther very least lets get to Wembley this time.
