I'm the same, with calculating the whole day cost rather than just the ticket price. Would have gone to Peterborough, but trains will cost me £40 return on their own for a simple 2 hour EC mainline journey. Getting to Leicester is £15 cheaper and includes 3 trains each way. Really frustrating.

It's the travel rather than the tickets costing me this year, if we do go up it'll be both, and price me out of a few games.

I'd pay up to £45 for a Prem away to a top five club, but would have to pick and choose and miss a few games at that price.

Wouldn't be happy paying it, but wouldn't stop going altogether.

If the prices were like in Germany I would probably never miss a game. Dirt cheap.

What get's me is, you pay £62 to watch Arsenal play who already earn alot of money, and not just Arsenal I point out I talk about the rest of the premier league. Yet some fans some are reluctant to watch there local non league team yet it's a lot cheaper plus the players are lucky to get £100 at some levels. It's not so bad if you live near Arsenal but anywhere else go and follow your non league side and boost some money into the.

Also for Leicester fans on here if you live in Leicester and your haven't got a ticket for Bristol or can't afford to go then look at the fixture list and see who Barwell, Hinckley, Loughborough, Nuneaton & Friar Lane have got and see them play.

Non league clubs are dying due to the greed of the premier league.

I agree with this, I'd much rather pay £10 for example to go and watch a non league game between honest players and I actually do get more enjoyment out of it than paying £30+ to go and watch us away at somewhere like Ipswich.

If we do go up I will hardly go to any away games If I'm being honest. The cost is absolutely ridiculous.

I think this is why FC UNITED OF Manchester was formed, due to the greed of Man Utd.

It's going to get to a point where you will have to simply pick and choose. It is getting ridiculous now, and £62 is a massive example of that. When you add the whole day up (as I do), you've got to be looking at more than £100 per away game.

Mentioned in the PL thread that he used to post on here. Top lad and very decent Sunday ref, as you'd expect.

And a big LCFC fan. He used to post on here, I went a few games with him.
