The deluded fans on there cider guzzling site want 4 million plus for him, 1 bid already rejected of around 1 million. This will be the new Nicky Maynard saga for sure with these planks. Just wondering if they had taken our massive ridiculous offer from Sven perhaps they would not be fighting relegation now, 7 million could of built them a brand new team virtually.

Dan Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Yep, fully agreed, Maynard to be honest though even had an injury prone reputation when we were linked with him so it's not a huge shock. Billy Sharp, was it £3mil + £28k a week we were going to offer? That was Pearson as well, fvcking hell.

Would like him here swap deal for Danns? Wages could be a problem me thinks.

Would like him here swap deal for Danns? Wages could be a problem me thinks. The sort of players who'd hold any form of leverage wouldn't want to play for Bristol City in League One. Danns? Beckford? If we were to buy him, it'd have to be cash only. I'm pretty sure he'd be keen to leave for us if the table looks the same in May as it does now though, which could force a move at a not unreasonable price.
