promised land Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Leeds supporters are a strange one, they get huge away following wherever they are but home support isn't any better than us, sometimes worse. People call them sleeping giants, I don't agree as it has been about a decade now since they were competing in the Champs league and regular top half Prem side. So is it the fact their supporters are spread far and wide over the country therefore easily getting good turn outs at most aways or the fact that since they dropped a league or two home support has fallen off a cliff? They had 10 or so good seasons in the top flight from 1965 onwards and then won the last Division 1 title before the Prem was formed but league wise nothing since.

Thinks its down to ken bates and ticket prices, why there home attendances isn't as good as it should, make no mistake they are probally in the top 10 supported clubs in the country

I wonder what they'd get then if he wasn't around?
Dan Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 I don't blame them. If we had Ken Bates in charge I'd probably only do aways.
Snik-Snok Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 Don't know why! Look on the website, it's changed. Looks like they've made Birmingham game a Fans Fixture instead now it's on TV. Well done to those who got tickets early before it changed!

Mike the Metal Ed Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Oh wow. Watford's platinum too. Fvck off LCFC. The last home game usually is. Ridiculous to make Leeds a fans fixture and then switch, although I'm sure some savvy consumers will have got a bargain on both games now.
Dan Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 It sums them up, what harm will it do to keep Leeds a fans fixture?
Guest Bilo Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Personally think Millwall should have some sort of special offer attached to it now.

Guest Bilo Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Free riot shield or hatchet on entry to N or L1. And a box of arrers with Chris Wood or Harry Kane flights.
