marko Posted 6 March 2013 Posted 6 March 2013 Well it appears they haven't worked as they've apparently been stolen.
Guest MattP Posted 6 March 2013 Posted 6 March 2013 Is this the new thing to show passers by this is a shit area? Good idea. It's about time we moved on from the trainer on a washing line, bordered up laundrette or white dogshit fest.
Poznan34 Posted 6 March 2013 Posted 6 March 2013 Ridiculous - that money could have been spent on putting Keith Vaz in stocks at the clock tower. Probably could have made money off of doing so as well. Or it could have bought him some new cushions...
MPH Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 I just hope they have a fire safety certificate for those bad boys.....
Zingari Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 What happens if someone mistakes those pom poms for exotic fruit and eats one and chokes on it ? They've not thought this through .
flowwolf Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 What happens if someone mistakes those pom poms for exotic fruit and eats one and chokes on it ? They've not thought this through . Not going to happen, the council paid out £ 800.00 for and independant risk assessment and the out come was that the only risk identified would be small children mistaking them for boiled sweets but due to the hight they were attached it was thought that there are not many four year olds with eight foot arms and it was duly passed as safe. No cost my arse.
birdwith2beaksandnofriends Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 Whenever I feel vulnerable, scared or concerned about my safety or possessions, I frantically look around for pom poms to allay those negative feelings. Good call.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 I was so busy thinking about knitting that I didn't notice - and certainly didn't mind - getting stabbed and killed. So it's a beyond the grave thumbs up from me

He once stole one of my eggs.

He once stole one of my eggs. I'm my very own imaginary Belle and Sebastian tribute band, which for practical reasons must remain imaginary as I think the actual B&S have seven members and I am but one. There's also two versions (both made up of course) the pre-watershed Bill & Sebastian (still just me) and the more popular but still very unpopular slightly racy (but not racist) post watershed version, Bellend Sebastian. I note on Facebook that a Brighton based Bellend Sebastian is at large that is an actual artist of some sort. This is not me, as far as I know. If you believe me to have stolen any of your eggs, I probably did, I wouldn't put it past me
