stockyfox Posted 18 March 2013 Posted 18 March 2013 If the unthinkable happens and for some mysterious reason, we fail to secure promotion to the Premier Bank and Eldorado, then it won't be a total disaster because we will still have fixtures against three of current Premiership teams, if not all of them. So we should be thankful for small mercies. We don't need a new manager. We just need players who can convert the final pass preferably into the back of the net as opposed to outer space. Indeed I would highly recommend the SSSS - that is the Schlupp School for Shooting and Scoring.

Posted 18 March 2013 Posted 18 March 2013 It's difficult to be positive after this run, the only hope I have is that we have a side capable of stringing a run of 5 wins together, and going 7 games unbeaten, it isn't all doom and gloom, but if something doesn't change soon then this season could be another consigned to the scrap heap.

They need to go 10 games unbeaten and it is all doom and gloom, I certainly didn't see any positives in Saturday's display. If you mention the performance by Schlupp then I I'll counter that by saying the improvement is due to him being at Man U, give him 2 more games and the life will have been sapped from him as it has from the rest of the team.

Yes it was a nice feeling when we were likely challengers for 2nd, but promotion has never been tied on, and to think it is now of all points in our season doesn't border on lunacy, it plummets into it. Making the playoffs and the accompanying emotional see saw is looking like an ask in of itself at the moment, let alone winning the 3 matches therein. Just enjoy the ride that is LCFC.
