nickyboy Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 With the latest kit about to be resigned to out of date, when do they go from out of date to bona ride classics?? Obviously if the kit has a trophy/promotion attached to it, then it speeds up the upgrade to a classic earlier than if not. Just wondering how many kits gap you would consider a classic?
Stadt Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 I really like last seasons kit,so for me that will become eventually
Guest Bilo Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 I quite like Shrenchel's rule of 'if it's after the Walkers logo went red, best go casual instead.; Whatever happened to Shrenchel?
Kitchandro Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 Well this season's will never be a classic no matter how old it gets. It's not about them being old, it's about them looking good.
Vlad the Fox Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 I found my old fox leisure shirt at the weekend. If I wear that will I look retro and cool or cheap?
SneakyFox Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 It depends both on the quality of the playing that season, and on how old is it.
Jace Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 When you win something in it it becomes a classic, the Joma sponsorless kit could of been a classic but now I remember is Kermos penalty
cornishfox83 Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 Ive got the '95 home kit and I would put that in the 'classics' range of shirts.
nickyboy Posted 7 May 2013 Author Posted 7 May 2013 I have the 89-91 shirt, the last with the running fox badge, took me years to find on eBay and well worth the 30 quid it cost me Outside that I have a few modern classics but some don't half look a little bad (the v-neck LG sponsored 1 comes to mind)
Jace Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 Ive got the '95 home kit and I would put that in the 'classics' range of shirts. I've got that 1 too mate not sure if Large boys will fit me anymore though
nickyboy Posted 7 May 2013 Author Posted 7 May 2013 i've still got this one.... Same here with 5 and Walsh on the back
flowwolf Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 I quite like Shrenchel's rule of 'if it's after the Walkers logo went red, best go casual instead.; Whatever happened to Shrenchel? He changed his name by deed pole to Kingfox.
