Fox92 Posted 4 September 2013 Posted 4 September 2013 http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/90098-win-millions-with-foxes-lotto/ We had a thread last month, might be a bit more info in there...?
cecchini Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 You are basically having a bet on the outcome of the German lottery draw. They've twisted it a bit by adding players names to represent numbers but its effectively the same. The German state lottery costs 1 euro (about 80p) but you have to understand that you are not taking part in this, you are simply having a bet on the outcome. The company involved (Lotto24) basically takes the risk that its highly unlikely that someone will win and that they only pay out small prizes (they actually have an insurance against big wins). In the UK the National lottery feeds good causes directly (Of all money spent on National Lottery games, 50% goes to the prize fund, 28% to 'good causes' as set out by Parliament levied to support the Big Lottery Fund, a fund constituted to support public spending), 12% to the UK Government as duty, 5% to retailers as commission, and a total of 5% to operator Camelot, with 4.5% to cover operating costs and 0.5% as profit. - source Wikipedia). Personally I see no problem with it, other than I would like to understand how the money is divided between the operator (lotto 24), the club, and the good causes.
Foxhateram Posted 3 June 2017 Posted 3 June 2017 Anyone ever won anything on this? I put a cheeky 10 pound in every few months and have a tittle now and again. Won 10 pounds here and there but nothing more. (Same as when I did normal lotto). Just intrigued to know if anyone else has had more luck?
Guy Posted 4 June 2017 Posted 4 June 2017 I get loads of email spam encouraging me to buy one, I have yet to do so though!
