Merging Cultures Posted 11 September 2013 Posted 11 September 2013 Good news! http://mobile.theverge.com/2013/9/11/4718470/giant-underground-water-reserve-could-solve-kenya-drought-problems A similar reserve was found in Namibia a while ago. I pray it gets managed properly.
Merging Cultures Posted 11 September 2013 Author Posted 11 September 2013 Syria could be off for a bit then. I hope so. Seems to be dependent on if they will allow the chemical weapons to be destroyed.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 11 September 2013 Posted 11 September 2013 eh? It's well known that the western nations are running out of water. It has been estimated that sometime in June 2026 ALL of the drinking water in developed countries will be either lukewarm or so contaminated by rain as to be rended "largely tasteless". Obviously, any undeleveloped countries or developing countries that are unable to stand up to the military might of imperialist corporation run states will be nervous that the eyes of the world's media are now blazing down on them like magnifying glasses on ants. Unfortunately for Kenya, Syria's water has for some time now be graded only to a standard B3* and furthermore, any standing water has somehow become polluted with chemicals, the source of which is of yet undiscloded. Kenya needs to look out!
Guest MattP Posted 11 September 2013 Posted 11 September 2013 eh? It was a joke that the West can now go in and steal Africa's water, what did you think it meant?
Ross-Kemp Posted 11 September 2013 Posted 11 September 2013 I seen this yesterday, they wasn't half wasting it.
