BrummieFOX Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/110913-fcc-seeking-supporter-views-1047452.aspx As part of Leicester City Football Club’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a dialogue with its supporters, eight new e-mail addresses have been established to help fans reach their Fans’ Consultative Committee representative. Each e-mail address represents a different area of the stadium and will be manned by the relevant FCC member who sits in that section of the stadium, and who will aim to respond to all supporter e-mails within 48 hours. The idea is for supporters to use the e-mail address for their part of the stadium to send suggestions and feedback in an aim to continue the consultative process and improve the matchday experience at King Power Stadium. Supporters are reminded that this is NOT the official process used for complaints by the Club, and that all complaints will continue to be handled by [email protected]. Dan Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Good idea that to be fair. I like this FCC. Think it's a perfect oppurtinity to improve fan/club relations (as they're dire IMO) if the right people get on.
AnotherShitSeason Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 5 strongly worded emails gone in from me so far. My opening salvo if you will. More to follow. I'll give the Fans’ Consultative Committee two weeks MAX before they crack. Then I'll move in for the kill. Think last days of Colonel Gaddafi type scenario but played out on Burnmoor Street instead of a drain under a motorway in Sirte.
Leicester Lass Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 Thought I would bump this in case people haven't seen it. We've discussed the idea of these emails at length in the FCC meetings and all thought it was the way forward so fans could have a bit more of a say in things.
purpleronnie Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 mmmm the cynic in me thinks nothing will change, although I guess it depends on what fans want to change.
Leicester Lass Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 mmmm the cynic in me thinks nothing will change, although I guess it depends on what fans want to change. You're right. But for so long fans have just wanted some kind of input into the club, a way of getting themselves heard. This offers that, and it is a way of getting ideas/issues heard by the directors via the FCC. The FCC process before seemed a very closed thing. The club are now shaking things up, by rotating the FCC membership and offering new initiatives like this one. No matter how cynical you are you can't argue that it's a step in the right direction, and the club are showing a willingness to listen to the fans.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 You'll have an email from me shortly Chloe. Just trying to work out which stand we're in

Guest MattP Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 Considering they are giving up their time for LCFC they could have gave them club email addresses rather than signing them up to hotmail! Like the idea though, more points of contact the better.
davieG Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 Let's hope they do more than just listen and act on ideas that may not appeal to them personally, make them a bigger profit or fit in with their apparent obsession with families at the expense of youth/young men.

Like the idea though, more points of contact the better. The problem with using club addresses is that the replies will then be seen to be officially linked to the club etc. Also tricky with access for us with not being on their servers and stuff. Hotmail was just an easy way of bypassing any kind of issues like that. It makes it easier to change hands when the FCC members change too.
AnotherShitSeason Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 I think they like me. I'll probably get a special invite to their Christmas night out at the Barley Mow.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 This was taken off a other thread Chloe and relates directly to the crux of the problem. Absolute extortion right so me and my mate both have season tickets for leicester, each game works out about £5.00 for the ticket which is a reasonable price for a 15 year old, but for the Wigan game my other mate wanted to come so i went online to book a third under 18 ticket, when i got on i saw that they are being sold at £21.00. first off i just want to say that this is a terrible price and no wonder we dont sell out. its a joke! i have a paperound and earn £22.50 a week and have so far been all away league games and home games, i can just about scrape the money together each week (thanks to saving in the summer). i see how this is a good deal for the season ticket holder but £21.00 it very expensive for a under 18, just a couple seasons back a adult was £20.00 there every game

However, as has been said w hen issues such as this have been raised before, this price is for one of the more expensive areas in the ground and you can get an u18 ticket for as little as £10 if you choose to sit elsewhere.
