DJMadness29 Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Been thinking about getting a tablet for a while as the missus keeps taking the laptop to play bloody farmville. Saw in Tesco that they've got the Hudl for £119, plus double up your clubcard points to get it even cheaper. Looking online seems to be getting some good reviews too. Anyone got one??

It`ll be a great buy if you have clubcard points like you say. The mother in law has a clubcard so I might tap her up.
Libertine Dream Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 All depends on what you want it for and what you like but personally I'd rather pay the extra for the Nexus 7. Considering getting the Nexus 7 myself but I do already have an iPad and iPad mini so maybe not
Strokes Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Has anyone tried this yet? I might get one just to see, the specs pretty good for the price but its not on sky go yet. Was going to get the nexus 10 but thats not on sky go either so its no different really.
Vacamion Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 My missus bought one earlier this week, using clubcard points to get it for about £60. It runs on Android, which I quite like. You can tell it has been set up to steer you to Tesco's peoducts and software. There is no Sky Go and (as I understand it) no prospect of Sky Go for it. No TimesOnline app for it yet. The Netfix app is a little clunky - you can't (yet) access different profiles through the Hudl's Netflix app. Other than that, it is a smart little device which handles well. I think my wife's will be mainly used for films, media and a bit of browsing.
