This seems to suggest the latest price hikes were not Ed Millibands fault at all and were always going to happen! What a surprise! Rip off merchants in ripping off customers shocker!

Just switched my wife's car insurance when the renewal came up and saved £200.

 

Now THAT'S how competition between companies should work - instead of this ridiculous cartel situation we have.

 

Same here, well £160. The amazing thing is that when I phoned her current insurer to say she did not want to renew they managed to drop their quote by £100.

 

I was with E On but used the comparison thing on moneysupermarket and am now with M&S fixed for twelve months and am paying about half what I was with E On
