Zingari Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 i'd imagine they'd incorporate ideas from RWT , ripping yarns etc into the shows
Fox92 Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 Since I last posted in this thread, November, I'm now a massive Python fan (even see my avatar ) ... Got all their Flying Circus sketches on DVD and all their films. Excited to see their show now it's just around the corner. Will be broadcast around the World according to the media. Watched their press conference yesterday, all the great sketches will be incorporated... My personal favourites are Spanish Inquision and Silly Job Interview
Rincewind Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 The first film was on BBC2 the other night. It was a mixture of the TV sketches. Dead parrot. Upper class Twit of the Year, Dirty fork camp soldier parade and Lumberjack song. All good.
ozleicester Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 You were right, this from Wikipedia. Being Normal. A spoof documentary about one man's completely uneventful life. Despite having had lunatic parents and a miserable childhood, David Battley remains depressingly ordinary, going to "straight pubs" and feeling at home in the company of "other normals". The documentary's narrator decides that "the little man from the off-licence" is to blame, not just for Battley's misfortune, but for everything, including Leicester City Football Club's failure to win the FA Cup. This segues into Innes's song Lie Down and Be Counted.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rutland_Weekend_Television Found it !! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eH4HeZrg48 4:38 minutes in. Thanks, great, never seen this
