indierich06 Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 He's the next (when Danns pisses off for good in January) who needs to go. Absolutely average defender and always was. Is he?! Speaks volumes about both. Yeah, he's got quite a hard-on for the bloke. I'm bored and it's lunch time, so here are Ken & Sean's Greatest Hits: On the subject of Was and Wes: "I still think St Ledger is the better all round defender. Disgraceful that NP has bombed him out for no reason and making him train with the youths." On St Ledger being slagged off: "Here we go again! Nuge and Kasoer last week, St Ledger this week. It would be easier for plebs on here to just cut and paste from their posts (If they are capable?) and then just insert the latest player scapegoat each week." On the topic of Was bringing international experience: "No more so than an international footballer who has 36 caps." On Sean's scandalously low wages: "He's on less than 12 of our other players. Still don't let the truth get in the way of an urban myth." When someone dares to say that Sean might be a bit injury prone: "Like most on here your not the brightest. SSLs injury is a trauma injury nowt to do with any joint of muscle weakness. Likewise the injury he sustained last season was one of those that are very rare. Give the guy credit he went to Germany to get treatment in an attempt to get back as soon as possible. As for the so called drinking, urban myth enhanced by fans jealousy. A player only has to be seen out and hes piss head on here. Plebs!" On the potential signing of Duffy from Everton: "So we could have Pearson picking an Irish reserve CB ahead of an established senior Irish international CB. Crazy!" On Sean's time at Preston: "SSL was outstanding for Preston, a Preston team that were far better than the current Leic team. Best CB in the league whilst playing at Preston. PNE fans love the Ledge. As I have previously stated given a long run in the team he will prove to be our best player." On blaming anyone but Sean for conceding goals during the Monaco game: "Try facing the pitch! SSL was marking Falcao at corners, The 2nd goal Morgan was static leaving SSL having to try and cover." When I suggested Moore, Morgan and Whitbread would be a good back three: "Are you serious? Moore and Zak ahead of a proven International. Your fast becoming foxestalks answer to Alan Young. Stevie Wonder could pick a better team." When Sean's horrendous hospital ball led to us nearly going a goal down against Port Vale: "I'd say it was more a case of Morgan not concentrating." On no-one wanting to take SSL off of our hands: "Wrong! I know for a fact there have been several offers. If we play other a 3 at the back then SSL will be our player of the year this season. Class act" On the potential signing of Lewin Nyatanga: "Wouldn't be a good signing either, NP looks to offload SSL who is a class above, and then brings in this joker! You couldn't make it up!Kenneth is not amused!" More random bumlicking of Sean St Beckenbauer: "A fully fit St Ledger is the best football playing CB in the Championship. Just watch him have stormer of a season when he goes to another club. Sir Kenneth has predicted! And finally, Ken's response to newspaper reports that SSL is on a rumoured £20,000 a week, as well as some nice racist undertones at the end: "You believe the papers!!!! What a thicko! Hahahaha sphincter media gimp! Feck sake there must be at least 11 players on higher wages than him. Not every player was given big money wages when they signed. What a moaning lot we are at the Ting Tong." I could go on all day, as this is literally scratching the surface. Makes for some bloody hilarious reading though!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Not wrapping himself up in enough cotton wool, as usual.
sphericalfox Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 If anyone actually cares, SSL was playing quite well, and was marking Lewandowski. He was doing a good job until he was subbed, and genuinely without any bumming of SSL, Ireland starting to go backwards in possession, and were all over the shop at the back when O'Shea came on. Some people have a necessity to bitch about one player. I won't deny that his injuries have been expensive ones, but it's unfortunate, as I think he's not a bad CB, and when he plays actually tries (see Mills for lack of appetite). When he eventually does move on, I'm sure there'll be another player to point over-dramatic bollox upon.
