Haha I was more concerned with the speed camera merchant extending his own Christmas cheer on the A5 or what used to be a fairly swift-moving trunk road but is now so full of hindrances you bump along like trucks in a London shunting yard.

I'm thankful for small mercies though. If it were Soulsby he'd either dig it up completely, squeeze in a bus lane or stick automatic barrriers down and turn it over to pedestrians and maniacal cyclists.
