ScouseFox Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Millwall challange for a play off place next season. In league one I assume you mean?
Exeter Fox Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Yes he is. Why? Did okay at Plymouth, couldn't keep a very poor Leicester side up, but managed two promotions with Blackpool and Crystal Palace. Yes perhaps Freeman did a lot of the work and maybe the league was bad, but in the end it's another promotion. I'm not making out he's amazing. I'm sure he's decidedly average, but definitely not deserving of all the shit he gets on here.
Soar Fox Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Millwall challange for a play off place next season. In league one I assume you mean? Who would have expected Burnley to be second of the league at this stage of the season in the summer? Everyone knows it's a strange league and anyone can beat anyone, Holloway has got a decent record at this level.
Vacamion Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 We are looking at this through blue tinted spectacles. Yes he took City down, but he was the umpteenth manager in a short space of time and we had been in decline (and denial) for several seasons prior to 2008. It would have been a miracle if he had turned us around and made us a success. If you ignore City, his records at Plymouth, Blackpool and Palace (whatever the explanations) deserve respect. He is a better prospect than Lomas was. I expect him to do well, which for Millwall, would be to survive this season and finish top half next season.
rico Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Hopefully he can fire them up against our promotion rivals
