Babylon Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Every year about this time we get a will the kids get played if we have nothing left to play for, and it almost never happens. We'll plonk one on the bench at most, the people getting games will be the likes of Moore, King, Wood. Perhaps Dyer and Konch.
lancyclaret Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Vokes being out injured for the rest of the season should help you wrap up the title more quickly. QPR and Derby will be rubbing their hands together excitedly.
Guest Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Vokes being out injured for the rest of the season should help you wrap up the title more quickly. QPR and Derby will be rubbing their hands together excitedly. Please no more excuses. We've had the great SSL out all season, so we made sure we had cover.
maynefox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Can understand people's argument to gain as many points as possible and it does sound good.I think we can still do that with the players on the bench and I believe if players came off the bench they would do a good job. That's my opinion, but it shows the depth of the squad and the excellent management by the club to make a strong bench. I mean look at Burnley's bench at the weekend when they lost Vokes. Okay, they had a few other injuries, but we've got depth in the squad they haven't.
Littletoe Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 And jeopardise an unbeaten run? No thanks. If our run is ruined and we have secured the title, then I have no arguments for it.
lancyclaret Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 The title will be safely in the bag but you don't want to risk losing at home to QPR, surely?
