If we win the league with games in hand, do you think we will...

Considering how badly Chris Wood wanted the credit for the goal vs Yeovil, I can imagine he'd be pissed off if Pearson starts Phillips or a youngster ahead of him, thereby eliminating chances at getting paid for goal bonuses!

Play the strongest team. As mentioned above we have a responsibility to the rest of the league to go into every game doing our best to win plus I don't particularly want to go down there and see half arsed performances. As for tweaking formations I can't see how it will be any real benefit for next season as once new players arrive in the summer they will have to be intergrated into the squad anyway and will Nigel change his formation from the fluid 4-4-2 that has served us so well this season?

Conrad to play home game vs Doncaster to give him the send off he deserves. Excellent loyal servant to the club, penned his first contract when we were still at Filbert Street and one of our all time longest serving players.

He's still got another year on his contract has he not?

Last game of the season, I would imagine Kasper will be desperate to play.

There will be other targets, keep the momentum going to give confidence going into next season, keep clean sheets, remain unbeaten to the end of the season (and not just for Youngy to win his bet!)Professionalism and pride will continue but I am sure some of those who have been on the bench,e.g.King,Moore,will start and a couple of youngsters will have an opportunity on the bench, like Harry at Leeds a couple of seasons ago.

Not a chance. We should be trying to beat the league points record and keep momentum for the prem. Same team, Total domination, Gotta be relentless I say!

Why bother?

Keep playing the players that won us the league and try to amass as many points as possible.

Play our strongest side possible and try to win every game.

Yep. The teams that do well when promoted are usually ones that had a good end to their previous season, which is why you sometime get a team that finished strongly and just squeezed into the play-offs do better than a team that spent most of the season 1st by miles, but in the end only win the league by the skin of their teeth.

Quick question, when is the right time to give the 'youngsters' a chance? They're not going to be young forever, most the development squad are only 12-18 months younger than our actual first team regulars: Knocky, Wood, James, etc...

We need to start bringing them into the side, or release them, Knocky is 22, Hopper is 20... look at the different between the both of them. Either start playing them or move them on!

Hopper, Blythe and Harry Panninitutu won't make it, if they were good enough they'd have made a handful of first team appearances.

Disrespectful to other teams in the division as well if we start putting a weak side out against teams who might have something to play for.

After the Wigan game we don't play anybody who is likely to have much to play for except Reading, which I can't imagine would be a game in which we'd be throwing in young players.

I don't give a shit about respecting the league or the other teams, that have all moaned and bitched about Leicester, and our money, even Sean Dyche, fvck 'em, that is no reason for np not to play some of the fringe players or give the youth a chance.

Other reasons are valid, such as keeping momentum and taking some records, but if np thinks it is a good chance to get a better look at the youngsters or fringe players, or try out a different formation, well fvck the rest of the championship, I'm going to be glad to see the back of all of them.

The only thing I would like to see happen if we win it with games in hand would be Knockaert taking and scoring a penalty.

The last three games will probably be against sides in mid-table, so we might change the side around a bit. Depends how close we are to 100 points, I could see Nige being very keen to reach that.

GTF and Hammond could still be around next season, I would and think they deserve to be part of the squad next season, then again I am a sentimentalist.

We've got to get rid of the likes of GTF next season, need better.

Personally, I think we owe it to the other teams in the division to keep putting out our strongest side! I know as a fan I would hate it if my team was involved in a promotion/playoff push or a relegation battle and I thought that other teams were advantaged by playing against a side that was experimenting or resting. I know that it can happen psychologically but I don't think that it is NP's mentality, or that of the team, to take their foot off the gas. See how many points we can get. Take the confidence of this amazing run that we are on into next season. That would be the best preparation for next year.

I agree, I'd probably look at giving a few lads a go against Doncaster if they're safe and we have either got or definitely can't get Readings point total on the last day. But not before.

Just after Christmas I got my Dad to put a bet on Harry Panayatou (or however it's spelt) to score for city in the last away game of the season. I think that's now an outside possibility. lol

Not many changes than really.

I expect the likes of Miquel & Wood to get a game or two.
