SamL Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Forgive me if I'm wrong, but wasn't tonight supposed to be a celebration of our promotion? While the performance on the pitch may have been pathetic, let's not forget that tonight was supposed to be a celebration of our achievements over the course of the season; not only tonight. I can't believe how much negativity I'm seeing; I guess some fans are so fickle! 21 unbeaten before tonight; I think we've been spoilt! We have a lot still to play for over the next 5 games! Tonight may have been a hangover but we have to get behind the team between now and the end of the season!
GeoLCFC Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 EXACTLY keep the faith like I have said on a different post all the people moaning we lost 4-1. What was our goal at the start of the season- to get promoted. What have we done- gained promotion calm down wow we lost 1 in 22 games that is probably a record that a team like Chelsea or Liverpool would like. If you thought we were going to go the whole season unbeaten then your optimistic. The only complaint you could have is that the players were hungover. 1 game don't define a season. We will bounce back, I trust Pearson and the squad. KEEP THE FAITH
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 A little perspective, whilst we where all buzzing for the promotion party at the start of the game, a man collapsed in the concourse and was given CPR. Whilst where all on here having a moan, he's probably fighting for his life. Anybody have any news?

Monsell1976 Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Feel a bit guilty about perspective after Ross post, but I can on this thread to put in to perspective look at forest, and Leeds

As for you saying 'a little perspective', you're the one saying some players aren't good enough for the Premier League on the basis of ONE game. Where's your perspective ?!
Illusion35 Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 This definitely happened, I saw him lying on the floor being given first aid in the East stand concourse. Hope he's ok.
