Japanfox Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 konnichi wa Any Leicester supporters in the land of the raising sun? Would be great to meet up and chat about anything relating to Leicester. LTID
Finnegan Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 I actually owe a Leicester shirt to a guy from Fukuoka. He gave me an Avispa one when I visited. I have it in a parcel in my room, I sent it over and he'd changed his address so it came back. I'm waiting for the end of the season and I'll send him this year's as well, along with some tacky promotion memorabilia. I've got one of my best friends running around Tokyo somewhere in a "Yoshito" City shirt already mind.
Japanfox Posted 17 April 2014 Author Posted 17 April 2014 I'm located in Okayama, so I sometimes go to see Fagiano Okayama as I can't be present to see the city games. Not a bad side with a great bunch of supporters so sing contastly throughout the game regardless of the score. Good luck to Leicester in the premier and I hope we go up as winners! LTID
Manjiro Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Used to be, for many years. And still visit often, ã§ã‚‚ã»ã¨ã‚“ã©æ±äº¬ã¨å·å´Žã ã‘ã ï¼

BobbyD Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Hey to any Japan based foxes. I just started a facebook Tokyo supporters group, getting a bit lonely on watching on j sports every week on my own. The wife tries her best at least. https://www.facebook.com/groups/547974045350715/ Would love to meet more supporters here and watch the games together. Let's make my apartment the Tokyo base for City supporters, It's a corner apartment, and you can make as much noise as you want (God knows I do). A bit about me. I was a season ticket holder for many many years, followed home and away like a maniac until I got married in Japan in moved here six years ago. I try to get to Leicester at least once a year to watch the boys. I was just there for Christmas where I was at the Liverpool, Man City, and Bournemouth matches, didn't see one City goal....

I'm going to be in Tokyo the day we play Newcastle and was thinking of going to Los Cabos near Ueno Okachimachi, as the only sports bar I can find that's open til full time. Is that a good plan or would you recommend something else? I'm staying in Ochanomizu.
BobbyD Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 50/50 they'll show it. If you're lucky you can find a pub like the Footnik, Sports Cafe who might show it, but it'll usually be shown without sound at the same time as whatever bigger team is playing. Google Footnik or sports cafe Tokyo nearer the time and they'll have a schedule up.
Finnegan Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 Hello Japan Foxes! I'm going to be in Ikebukuro, Tokyo for the first two weeks of May! In the off chance we're involved in title deciding games I don't want to miss out. Any advice on how likely I am to find sports bars and maybe even fellow foxes showing games that start at midnight?!

Hi Finnegan, I think HUB is the best place to watch matches in Japan. And there're two HUB in Ikebukuro like this website http://www.eok.jp/restaurants-bars/pub/british/hub-ikebukuro-east-exit . Almost matches will start at around 11PM in Japan. However, almost last train will depart at around 12PM. So you have to select a bar carefully not to miss the last train.

Koma Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Have an event for the last game of the season! I'll come. It's difficult to hold the last game's event. because it will start on Sunday's midnight. But if we will hold it, I'll introduce it you And I hope you enjoy the journey!
Koma Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Over 30 foxes came together in Tokyo yesterday! it was brilliant!! And we're going to hold new event on the next weekend!
NZ_Foxile Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 I'll be in Tokyo at the end of February- first week of March (I'm going to run the Tokyo Marathon!). A bit gutted I'll be missing two home matches vs Norwich and West Brom. I'll be staying in Shinjuku. Any advice for watching the matches? (at midnight for Norwich and west Brom at 4.45am- might struggle to be awake for that!). Is it likely any TV station would show them, or will I have to try and find a bar?

I recommend HUB for watching the match vs Norwich. HUB Shinjuku Kabukicho (ENG) http://www.eok.jp/restaurants-bars/pub/british/hub-shinjuku-kabukicho HUB Shinjuku Kuyakusyodoori (JPN) http://www.pub-hub.com/index.php/shop/detail/88 They will open until 4am! On the other hands, I think it's difficult to watch the match vs WBA. Because it'll start 4:45 am in Japan. DARTS&SHOT BAR Sector 7G (JPN) http://r.gnavi.co.jp/g164700/ LOS CABOS Shinjuku (ENG) https://gurunavi.com/en/g466919/rst/?__ngt__=TT0ba06c41b000ac1e4a0d35gO5FrLS3yT_vbhG-Hbg4Pg These two bars will open until 6am. So if you request that Bar keeps opening until finishing the match, they may permit it. I hope you complete full marathon, enjoy the trip and watch LCFC's matches.

Thank you for the help and all the info. Norwich match starts just a few hours before the Marathon start and the West Brom game is at a stupid time...I'll still probably try to watch them both!
