broughtonblue Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Lots of differing opinions on the pitch invasion on Saturday, of which I have expressed mine in other threads. But to the people who did, and those that think it was the correct thing to do. Apart from spoiling it for the many thousands of fans who stayed in their seats to cheer the players, upsetting players and their families, ripping the staging to pieces, dis obeying the wishes of the club, what actual positives did it achieve? I realise the club could have announced that the fans would be allowed on the pitch after the lap of honour, but quite frankly if they had done I doubt it would have made any difference.
Mark_w Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Jesus Christ, it's over, forget about it. I didn't go on the pitch, but really is there any point debating it constantly now? Get over it.
