Corky Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 I'm possibly going to be shot down in flames again for this (or some quip about Cattermole will be made), but Cambiasso is yet to convince me that he still has it, on the field. Off the field, his attitude toward us and wanting to play for us seems fantastic. But I was concerned about our midfield in the first half of the United game and especially against Palace. I'm hoping that Cambiasso has remained the player to drive us forward. I THINK He'll be a great player for us. But am yet to be convinced, unlike many on here. I think we'll see the best of Cambiasso with Drinkwater and James next to him. Hammond is a decent player but doesn't have the same vision, drive and athleticism of the other two. Cambiasso can sit deep and then give it to DD or James and we can build from there.
