Match day traffic

Recommended Posts

Narborough road was closed at the bridge just past Iceland due to them repainting it. Ridiculous idea to close the road on match day.

No, it wasn't at all.

One of the lanes was closed for around 100 yards due to the repainting works, but at no point on the Saturday around the match time was it completely closed. It caused inevitable chaos and delays, but at no point was it completely closed to traffic. The person writing the letter to the Leicester Mercury also made this error.

Still doesn't explain why they chose a day when we were playing at home to shut down half of the road most people use to get to the ground or use to find parking. Unless it was your idea, that might explain your reply!

Don't park at the rowing club, park at the end of filbert st. Costs a fiver and they have people watching the cars, unlike the rowing club.

Well done Yorkie ...      spread the word so every man and his dog gonna go there now....

however to note it is a bastard to get out of ....     So what you win by parking there you lose when leaving,,,,
