Do they still ban songs, if so, why?

Just heard This on the radio and remembered they banned it back in the day.

and i thought.... do the young folk still have songs banned or do they just beep or modify the words for the radio edit?

You don't get as many politically motivated songs (unfortunatley) in todays music so that has a little effect on the numbers being banned. Think swearing mainly gets bleeped nowadays, unless there's drug references then it may be banned. Think Dizzy Rascal's riot song was banned briefly.

I don't think they do, cos I haven't heard any banned songs on the radio.

I don't know if they ban songs as such but I'm fairly sure that when the crazy frog was number 1 all those years back radio stations refused to play it

I wished they banneded gangnam style
